Video card driver

i have an I810 series card and the I810 video card drivers don't seem to work. Would it be better if i used Nvidia video drivers?

Do you have an NVidia card?

How about being specific? Let's see the error log and your .conf file for X (xorg.conf or XF86-Config(-4).

What is "don't seem to work"?
