Using the trinity desktop
This project has been interesting me, since I still have a longing for the old KDE 3 desktop. So has anybody been using it and if so, are there adequate packages for Debian to make it usable?
Please share your experiences. |
I tried this as a live-CD :
http://exe-linux.fastfishwebsolutions.com/ and the experience was very good. As i didn't use it in real-life, that is all i can say. |
It works just fine.

Thanks craigevil and j1alu.
I'll add these repos and check it out. |
I've got a Mepis 8 workhorse (Debian Lenny, in effect. KDE 3.5.9) If I add the relevant Trinity repos & apt-get upgrade Will I end up with Trinity 3.5.12? a simple question but one I've been unable to answer by Googling, I fear...

They haven't ported Trinity to many distros yet. I think they only have it for Debian and Ubuntu
