Using old harddisk on a new machine

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi, guys, I need some help about installing hardware.
My old PC unfortunately was down this morning and I replace it with a new machine. However I wouldn't like to reinstall the OS, so I use the old harddisks in this new PC and it works partly.

Since the display card ,sound card and network card has been changed totally, the hardware environment is so different that the system can't recognize all the hardware.

Since I haven't did this before, I don't know how to reconfigure the hardware. Can anyone who ever did the same thing before give me same suguesttions for me? Thanks a lot!

You need to tell us which distro you have installed...there are different techniques for fixing your problem depending on the specifics.
