user permission pb.

Hello !

On my system i have created 2 users and they are member of the same groups. (i can see that by: #groups <user> )

But the weird thing is that the first user ( the first one I created) can open apps such as web browser while the second can't ?!.

from the shell it looks like xdm/xserver are not happy with it and complain about permissions issue...?!

strange because both user have been created in similar way and both are member of same groups?...

any idea ?

thanks!

Are you trying to use "user2" to run applications on a graphical login belonging to "user1"? If so, look into xhost.

The way I do it is by logging out and logging back in with xdm
But it still doesn't work...
