upgrade to kde 3.5

Hi there!

I've just updgraded to etch from sarge, but I'm dismayed to see that kde is still 3.3. What's going on? the last time I upgraded from sarge I got 3.5 and was very happy (couldn't see a difference but it said 3.5...)

So can anyone tell me how to get 3.5?

cheers!

miner49er :-)

In Synaptic, does it say version 3.3.2? What happens if you select the KDE package and try forcing the new version?

What's the point of that? KDE 3.5 is already in the Debian testing/unstable repositories.

To save your ALSA settings, run "alsactl store" as root. That should bring up your settings on every bootup.
