Updated kopete

I've had a search here and at debian.org but I find no mention, is there likely to be an updated "kopete" soon, or should I get a non .deb one. Oh, yeah I'm using "sarge" if that helps.

The thing is, as I understand it, the yahoo protocol in it is out of date so it won't connect.

Oh, I wanted to stick with sarge as I can't be bothered with upgrading. I didn't want to bother with sid as I can't be bothered with random crashes. Hopefully a functioning version will filter down to sarge at some point.

Thanks anyway

Taking one package from unstable doesn't lead to random crashes of the system, but the unstable refers to the package structure; it is altering rappidly.

Why the kopete is not in testing?
