Unable to get jigdo to download iso files

I am running Windows XP Pro on a Dell Deminsion 8400. I have downloaded version jigdo-win 0.7.2.
I am having trouble getting the dvd iso files. I downloaded the 2 jigdo files under the i386 dvd link on Debian's website.
I tried using them as a file name when running jigdo, and got the error message jigdo file not found.
I tried entering the url of one of the mirror sites, and received the same error message jigdo file not found.
I would like to install Debian Linux on a Maxtor One Touch External USB Hard Drive. Is it possible to have a dual boot choice between Debian Linux and Windows XP?
Also is it possible to use a Nec DVD-RW burner under Debian Linux?
Thanks.

When you use jigdo with windows (I think) when prompted you tell it where to find the jigdo file on the internet, not download the jigdo file first. If you were trying to download a dvd iso you might type the following:

This is for a particular DVD of course. You have to use your own url to the jigdo file. Try it and see. I could be wrong. From one newbie to another.

EDIT: I have successfully used Firefox to download iso images on windows.

Radiodee1's suggestion worked. I was able to start downloading the cd iso's. I haven't tried to get the dvd iso yet. Thanks.
