Unable to download udebs while building debian installer

hi,

I am trying to build d-i on Squeeze. I've checked out the source from svn.

Here are the contents of sources.list.udeb.local

Code:

deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main  
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sid main

The build process fails, it is not able to download udebs from the repositories. I have checked that the internet connection is working fine.

Well, you're driving an Ambassador and then you are ordering - in bits and pieces packaged - a Hyundai Sonata and a Honda Civic. With these parts you want to upgrade your Ambassador in one swift move.

Do you understand that exaggerated statement?
Stay with stable and only update with the proper sources.
Upgrade stable to testing and then only update testing.
Upgrade stable via testing to SID and then further update SID.

NO mixing various flavours of a distribution whatsoever!

Fixed it

In case anybody faces such an issue while building the Debian-installer, heres how to fix it:

The contents of the sources.list.udeb.local file in my case should have been:

deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sid main/debian-installer
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main/debian-installer

I was building this is Squeeze with source checked out from SVN. For those working on stable(Lenny) you can get the source via synaptic/apt.
