Yes k9copy,k3b and smplayer are the few kde apps I have installed, can't remember having issues with any of them.

Well, thankfully I haven't broken my machine. k9copy and smplayer still are rejecting some dvds, but, well, it's not a huge concern. I may consider upgrading to squeeze, since what I was trying is proving to be too difficult for me.

Rather than upgrade to squeeze, I decided to mix my system. So, via a preferences file, I still am running lenny, but now have the squeeze version of k9copy installed.
