Torsmo on Ion ?

I Love Torsmo and Ion,

Does any smart lady/man know how to put Torsmo on the Ion main screen ?
Or have any scripts that might be useful for Ion ?

I don't use torsmo or ion (gkrellm & wmaker for me ) but you can probably find more info about both from /usr/share/doc/. That's usually the best place to look after you've installed a new program and want to learn a bit more about it. There's probably also a man page for both. Most man pages contain very condensed info and are hard to interpret but some are well written and have lots of useful stuff -- check out the man page for fluxbox.

If you'd like to save a man page for viewing it later in some text editor or maybe for printing it, you can pipe the man page to the col utility with -b switch. For example, if I wanted to save the man page for fluxbox to a plain text file in my home directory, I'd use this command:

man fluxbox | col -b > ~/fluxbox.txt

Hi.
but why not use the statusbar? it can do almost anything torsmo can
the ion3-scripts package contains a few statusd_* scripts for monitoring stuff and you can make statusbar display any external action using the statusbar_external.lua script.

Thanks mate,
I didn't know that.
I'm still feeling my way around it and I'm using ion2 at the moment, as I was having some problems
with 3.
I'll have a bit more of a dig around,
thanks again.
