Then why don't you go to the teamviewer page and download it?? It's there and easily found.

I cannot find Teamviewer 8 QuickSupport as a .deb package on the teamviewer page and I've searched before I have done this posting.

I found it there, but had to look for a bit. And the .tar.gz file is VERY easily found, and requires very little effort to install...both of which will work for you.

Have you considered contacting TeamViewer Inc, the makers of TeamViewer, for assistance with their software? You might get a better answer out of them than from a bunch of volunteers on an unaffiliated message board.

Yes, it is; again, you have to dig a bit for the package, and the .tar.gz file is very obvious.

Perhaps they are reading your user agent string and only showing windows versions. Care to provide a screen shot?

Try to make a .deb package from http://download.teamviewer.com/downl...ewer_qs.tar.gz using:

Extract source .tar.gz
Run dh_make
Edit debian files
Run debuild

Over 1 month since your original post, and you haven't had a chance yet to pick up the phone and call TeamViewer's toll-free 800 number?

Seems nobody here knows the answer to your question, maybe time to ask the TeamViewer experts...

And to add to snowpine's response, you also need to spell out your words, and show some effort of your own. Coming back and (essentially) COMPLAINING that no one has spoon-fed you an answer yet, isn't a nice thing.

You were told it could be built from source VERY easily, but didn't. Want to build a package from source? Plenty of documentation on how to do it...did you try?? Did you call their support number? Email tech support?
