syslogd and named logs - separate file

HI!
Logs from named are going to the syslog.log in /var/log/ I want them to be in separate file maybe /var/log/named.log how can i change it? How the line in syslogd.conf will look like?

named.* /var/log/named.log ?

or

daemons.named.* /var/log/named.log ?

could you please tell me which is good? and what is the difference between this too - i think that both are correct.

Any link to good howto about syslog would be great - my friend google says only very basic things about syslog

Thanks for any answers :-)

but in this way all the daemons logs will go to the named.log - right? what about postfix, ssh, proftpd i don't want all of them to go to the named.log file.

You can parse logfile and get named records only.
Or you can set log file in named.conf directly.
man named.conf
...
LOGGING
logging {
channel string {
file log_file;
....
