synaptic(alps) touchpad coworking with usb mouse.


I am running sarge with self built 2.6.13.2 kernel. I have installed xorg and also xfree86-driver-synaptics. I have my xorg.conf following for touchpad.

If I use touchpad when kdm starts it works. After use of my usb mouse, touchpad is not working.Any solutions?

could be a bios setting? I know my brother had a issue like that in windows ...other then that im sorry I'm not sure I'm new to linux
