Sun fire V240 Debian Serial Install

OK so here is the story so far:--

I have a Sun Fire V240 (USparcIIIi) which i am trying to install debian to from the netinstall CD.

I get to the silo boot prompt ok and start going,
I get as far as : REMAPING KERNEL .. DONE

and then it apears to halt (No mroe output to terminal anyway)

I have passed the console=DEVICE switch with ttya ttyb and some other randoms like ttyS0 (As in the install handbook).

I also passed some other switched in a vain attempt to make things work like: DEBIAN_FRONTEND=text

NOTHING

Anyhelp at all on this would be great! Thanks.

If anyone was wondering, this turned out to be a silo problem,
Old versions work great (like potato -2.2r7)

Guess no one could help this time
