Strange login problem wont let me in
 

help xdm wont let me login as sc. For some reason i can only login as root. I was setting up my vnc server. I connected locally to it then all of a sudden the terminal stopped resonding. After that everytime I tried starting one it would terminate by itself so i reset my pc.

I tried deleting my username then readding it but got the following errors

configuration error - unknown item 'QUOTAS_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'NOLOGIN_STR' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'ENV_HZ' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CHFN_AUTH' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CLOSE_SESSIONS' (notify administrator)

I can login as sc if i use the login command within the terminal.
why?

oops lol it was because i accidently deleted the tmp and created with root permissions !!!
