Strange exim behivor after upgrade !FIXED!
For some reason after I did an apt-upgrade today the file 'update-exim4.conf.conf' keeps being displayed on my screen! I can't get past it, the only key combo that gets me out of it is 'ctrl'+'Alt'+'del' and when I boot up into recovery mode, I get the same problem, however I am able to 'ctrl'+'c' to get out of it.
I've tryed to completely remove exim4 from the system with "dpkg --purge exim4" but it tells me that it is not installed. I've also tried 'apt-get -remove exim4' to no avail! Dose anyone have any idea how to get past this? <edit> Well after a good night sleep, I had an idea, 'apt-get' exim; let it go throught some of the configs, stop it, then run 'apt-get remove exim' when that was done I ran 'updatedb' and restarted. And now it works. All I need to do now is back up my stuff and reload (I was planing on this any way). </edit> |
