SteamOS/win7 dual booting trouble

Hi, there. I chose this forum since SteamOS is wheazy spinoff.

So I successfully installed SteamOS/win7 on a separate drives. win7 was installed first on drive witch is now /dev/sdd, after that I installed steamos on /dev/sda, both oses where installed with only their drives connected at the time of installation.

The problem is win7 doesn't boot from grub (it's present in a menu, but it just stucks on flashing cursor after choosing the option) but it boots perfectly fine if I change first booting device in the bios.

I reinstalled grub a couple times with the same result
grub generates this lines for win option in menu:

setparams 'Windows 7 (loader) (on /dev/sdd1)'

insmod part_msdos
insmod ntfs
set root='(/dev/sdd,msdos1)' // tried to change to '(hd3,msdos1)' with no effect
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root dirve_uuid
chainloader +1

Dual booting worked perfectly fine before on the same system out of the box. The only difference is this time I used updated SteamOS iso.

Please someone help me. I will be eternally grateful

P.S. I googled before posting this thread and didn't found answer to this issue. only what to do if there is no menu option in the grub at all, so please post only useful replies.
