Startup Manager

Hi,

Further to my post "Dual boot Vista/Squeeze grub problem" I see there is a startup Manager that can be used to configure grub. Two questions

1. is it part of the DVD-1 distribution or must it be downloaded separately.

2. as I described in my other thread "Dual boot Vista/Squeeze grub problem", can it be used to fix a grub configuration that hasn't included the windows installation

Thanks for the help

Running " update-grub " should find your Window$ install if it doesn't then mount it and run " update-grub " again.

You should also know that Start up Manager does not fully support grub-pc. It was a great tool for grub-legacy and folks keep recommending it.

The native grub-pc commands are usually all that is needed for the most sever problems.
