Starting TeamSpeak server at boot
 

Hello,

I installed the TeamSpeak server using this tutorial (http://www.completronics.com/TeamSpeak)
and I got everthing working fine but I would like to know how to have the TeamSpeak server start boot on an Debian system. Most things say edit the rc.local file but from what I have read Debian don't have one. What would be the best way to start the server at boot.

Also is there an better place that I can put the server files the in my home directory?

another place where you could put it is in /usr/share

and if you want an easy way of creating bootable tasks then you can easily create them using webmin.. if you want it to do the normal way you have to create a bin/bash file with your start command in rc2.d and then use the update-rc.d tool.. better look it up somewhere "update-rc.d" because i don't really use it that often..

i think:
update-rc.d /etc/rc2.d/teamspeak defaults

should do it.. not sure tho
