I'm having a bit of trouble with my Intel 82801G sound card.
I can get the sound to work by typing this into the terminal and following the instructions;
apt-get install alsa-base alsa-utils && alsaconf
Sound works perfect after doing that. But when I reboot, the sound is disabled again. I've tried using alsactl store and alsactl restore but still nothing.
