Sid linux-image-2.6.15-686 dhcp networking problems

I recently upgraded my Debian distribution from etch to sid and found that it installed kernel 2.6.15. I was extremely excited, as this is a fairly new kernel compared to 2.6.12 in Debian "Etch". Anyways, I chose 2.6.15 in grub and I log in successfully. Everything works except for the networking. The dhclient program just doesn't seem to work. It sends DHCPREQUEST to port 67 repeatedly and never gets a DHCPOFFER. However, when I try using the dhclient program in 2.6.12, there are no problems and the system gets the DHCPOFFER immediately after issuing the command... Almost immediately... Okay, okay, a few seconds after issuing the command.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this is how it is?

Thanks in advance

You could add this line after the #!/bin/sh line:
Code:
set -x; set -v
on the file /etc/dhclient-script

Which will add some debug information...

With a few system updates on my SID system from the time of my last post, the problem seems to have resolved itself...
