sarge net installer and lilo, possible?

Hello

I tried the sarge netinstaller, but it only offers Grub. is it possible to skip the grub , and install lilo before u have to reboot after a new install?

thanks

yes, sarge installer can use lilo as well. When you install debian, start it with the command "expert" and it will give you the choice to use lilo later on. (expert mode has more options etc)

Personally, i like GRUB over LILO, especially, if later on you want to install a kernel-image. Don't worry about Grub or Lilo, that is the least of your problems, concentrate on installing Debian.

Later on, after a succesful installation as root:

apt-get remove --purge grub
apt-get install lilo
liloconfig
/sbin/lilo

and you're back on the saddle.

I was wondering, I just installed sarge too and my grub seems different from the grub I'm used too. I can't seem to find the find any grub.conf file... Where can I configure the booting defaults and such?
