Run Shell Script on logon

Hey, I have a shell script that I would like to be run right after I sign on, I remember reading that there was a config file somewhere that could do this, does anyone know how I would go about doing this?
Thanks

Place the command to run the shell script in .bashrc

run mount command @ user login

Placing a script in .bashrc appears does work, but I need to create a script which will mount a windows share when certain users login.
I am able to mound smbfs shares from SU, once logged in. Any ideas?
