reset default PrtScr hot key?

Somehow, I now get a Verizon search page when I press the PrtScr key. How do I reset it to screen capture?

Ubuntu? Do you have a Keyboard Shortcuts in your System Preferences? Look for their invasive remapping for the Print key.

Sorry, just noticed you posted this under Debian. I don't know the desktop exactly there, but same thing, see if you can find some form of system setup preferences and check out keyboard shortcuts.

What DE are you using? Gnome? KDE? other? If KDE then, as was suggested above:
1. Open system settings
2. In the Common Appearance and Behaviour sections (the first one) click on Shortcuts and Gestures.
3. In the left-hand column select Custom Shortcuts.
4. Click on Preset Actions and you should see PrintScreen as one category.
5. If the check box isn't checked then check it and the click on the Actions tab and change it to what you want. (On my system it's set to ksnapshot)

The preset actions was set to ksnapshot, as expected. However, I was getting the ksnapshot URL instead of the application.
Problem identified: ksnapshot had never been installed.
