Replacing Ubuntu with debian sqeeze, leaving Vista
My system is a dual boot (grub) with Ubuntu and Vista.
I want to replace Ubuntu with debian sqeeze.
Is it safe to just boot from a debian installer cd,
and handle everything during the installation:
empty the ubuntu partitions, resize partitions, install sqeeze,
and let grub take care of itself, ie create a new menu with vista and sqeeze?
Or should I first reinstall the Vista master boot record,
do things (delete/resize) with partitions with gparted,
and finally install debian sqeeze ?
