Removing news server

On installation, the news server was installed (I didn't fine-tuned my selection at the installation stage). How can I remove it? hehe it's really annoying I'm getting a cron generated error message because of it:

From news@debian Wed Oct 22 00:10:01 2003
Envelope-to: news@debian
From: root@debian (Cron Daemon)
To: news@debian
Subject: Cron <news@debian> test -x /usr/bin/rnews && rnews -U
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/lib/news/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/var/spool/news>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=news>
Sender: CronDaemon <news@debian>
Date: Wed, 22 Oct 2003 00:10:01 -0100

Hostname does not resolve or 'domain' in inn.conf is missing

Thanks..

apt-get remove inn2-inews should do it if that's the news server you're running.
