removing gnome + kde


I would like to learn how to remove gnome and kde, because I dont use them and it seems like apt-get remove gnome doesnt remove a lot of gnome dependant prgorams.

Code:
apt-get install debfoster deborphan
then read the man pages. :)

does the following command do what you want?
apt-get remove --purge kde* gnome*
