Recommendations for a simple console based mail client ?

Hi all,

What console maill client would you recommend and why ?

I'm currently setting up a Debian Woody server via the console - no X system.
I am using screen and exim and need your recommendations for a useable console email client.
I have no vi skills and don't want to learn any.
I need to send simple emails without fancy formatting or read receipts etc to local addresses.
I only want a client from stable.

I did a apt-cache search mail and got a lot of hits.

I searched the Debian package list at

http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages#search_packages

and also found some more at

http://www.linuxlinks.com/Software/I...le/index.shtml

Decisions, decisions :-)
Cheers

I just installed MUTT and it seems to use Nano as the editor, nice little menus at the top to tell me what keystrokes to use etc etc.

Follow up - I have been using MUTT for a few hours now and it's fine. No bizarro key combinations needed !

Cheers

check http://www.dotfiles.com and look for .muttrc files or google them. You can set any particular editor you want to use.

Code:
set editor="nano -t -r 72"
That's what I use. Works great.
