PS/2 mouse scroll wheel inactive after upgrade
 

I have installed Debian testing in last January. The mouse (Logitech MouseManPlus PS/2) worked perfectly up to an upgrade around early July when the scroll wheel stopped working.
It still works perfectly with Mandrake 9.2 and 10.1 and XP.

I have tried dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 with no result. The configuration files contains :
device=/dev/psaux
protocol=MouseManPlusPS/2
emulate3buttons=true
zaxismapping=4 5

I presume a package changed in the upgrade could be the culprit, but I cannot find it.

Has anyone faced the same problem ?
