Question problems with kscreensaver (kde 3.2.2)

I have just upgraded my install of Debian Woody on my laptop to Sarge. After upgrading everything the screensavers in kde cannot be configured. When I try to configure with kde's config tool it says:

there was an error loading the module.

and viewing the details say I may have an orphaned module or old 3rd part modules lying around. What would they be? I see nothing installed that would conflict all the kde 2 stuff seems to be gone. Any have this problem or know what I can do to fix it?

KDE 3.2.2 is finicky about older modules being in there, try uninstalling KDE as a whole, ie the older one as well, and reinstalling the latest.

Also having XFree86 4.4.0 might be handy
