Problems installing Debian


I downloaded the 3 first cd's from a Debian mirror, i installed it without internet access, enabled Desktop stuff, but when i type startx, it opens the TWM (Window Manager), could someone help me?

Usually you put that in your ~/.xinitrc file. If it doesn't exist, just create one and put this in it

#!/bin/sh
xterm &
exec icewm
This one is for icewm. You'll have to edit it for your window manager of choice. If you want icewm and it's not installed, just do aptitude install icewm as root.
