problem with dpkg-buildpackage

It keeps barfing up:

dpkg-parsechangelog: error: cannot open debian/changelog to find format: No such file or directory
dpkg-buildpackage: unable to determin source package

This is the link I got this command from: I am following his HOWTO on installing Open Xchange on Sarge.

http://gpl.netixia.com/openxchange/o...rge-howto.html

Quote:
Edit te file configure.options and uncomment the line --enable-aci. Now, go back to $OX_INSTALL/openldap2-2.1.30/ and build the package :

dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -b
So I am in the openldap directory and I executed the command and it barfs with that error.
