Question PCMCIA difficulties on Debian/Knoppix

G'Day all,

I am trying to attempt some data recovery on a Compaq Armada E500 Laptop (Pentium III 800, 128 MB Ram), I ran into some problems linking to the wireless network through the PCMCIA slot.
1. I am using Knoppix STD, my fears are that this version plain does not support the Buffalo WLI-CB-G54 wireless card. If someone knows if thats the case or indeed how I would check, thanks.
2. I am also having some trouble looking at the HD from Knoppix (not to install, just to see whats there) any ideas on how I would go about that?

Thanks,
Stimz

Yes I am a newbie, thanks for reminding me....
