Post partprobe for debian


hello,
as most of us knows RedHat based distros can sync after making a partn without a reboot using a cmd called partprobe.
does debian include this command or something similar.it will be helpful if someone point it out..thx

It looks like partprobe is part of the parted package. So if you aptitude install parted the command should be available to you as root. It looks like it will be installed to the /sbin directory.
