Open Office Doesn't do anything.


Well after my install the other day, once I got it workin i went to open office and once it came up all but three tiny buttons where frayed out and under new all I could pick was formula and it didn't even open anything! Same with themplates.
Please help (or point to CD that has LibriOffice or AbiWord on it).

If you have an internet connection just use ' aptitude reinstall openoffice '. or check the jigdo download page as it has a search for packages on the CD/DVD so you can download the one you need. If you want libreoffice you need either backports or Wheezy.

Nope no internet.
Could I just reinstall it from my CD?

Sure as long as you have the complete office suite.

Any error messages when you open an xterm and type:

ooffice
(return)?

Which CD are you installing from?
