I managed to get nvsound working for my NForce4 chipset and I cant seem to get spdif working. The drivers are OSS from what I can tell, but I've been looking all over for some way to get my digital coax working to my receiver but so far no luck, can anyone help?

worked for me. I also had to give user permissions to 'use audio devices' (xubuntu)
