i dont understand - the new xorg works or doesent work with nvidia? because for now i pinned the version of xorg because it was trying to remove nvidia-glx. should i install the new xorg and install the 100.14.19 driver?
|
works just fine with the nvidia driver, not the nvidia-glx i.e. the debian way of installing nvidia.
If you prefer to do it the proper Debian Way, I would wait. And the new xorg still has a couple of bugs. |
are there any big diffrentces bitween 1.7.3 and 1.7.2 ?
|
You see what the changes are by looking at http://packages.debian.org/changelog....3+2/changelog . The list is quite long.
