need help repairing fs with fsck

I running Squeeze and the other day it started complaining about the fs. I posted the log and my fstab. I tried running fsck.ext4 -p /dev/sda7 ...no? just says clean as it does below. The only thing I noticed is the UUID it mentions according to fstab is my /boot but it keeps mentioning sda7 which is /home. I'm probably just confusing myself. I ran Ubuntu for a couple of years so I'm not used to doing things on my own anymore

Log of fsck -C -R -A -a
Mon Jul 26 05:57:41 2010

fsck from util-linux-ng 2.17.2
fsck.ext4: Unable to resolve 'UUID=d79f591a-58b0-4706-b8b6-c24bf6eb0e11'
/dev/sda7: clean, 7551/6111232 files, 13571515/24414775 blocks (check in 2 mounts)
fsck died with exit status 8

you must umount the drive before you can fix anything. If it is your only drive you must do it from telinit 1 (run level One) sign in as root and type umount /dev/sdXX then type e2fsck -f /dev/sdXX X stands for what ever your drive letter and number is.
you can also boot a live cd and do the same thing.

Or you can ....

How about running the following command from root ....

shutdown -F now

this has worked for me in fedora. It will mark the filesystem to be checked on the next boot.

Try the fsck on just the /boot (sda1 presumably).
