My PC sleeps but does not wakeup

I use debian sid\unstable. When I suspend my PC, it does sleep fine, but when I try to wake it up, I get a black screen.

Help is appreciated.

Removed the 2nd NIC and everything works fine.

Does that solve the issue, or would you prefer to not have to do that?

If the latter, you might be able to work around this by shutting down the offending NIC and removing its driver, before you suspend. Upon resume, modprobe the driver and bring up the network again.

I do the same on my desktop machine, with my nvidia/realtek ethernet driver (forcedeth kernel module) and it works fine.

Exactly how you go about this, if you're interested, depends on what tools, buttons or scripts you use to execute the suspend action, and whether it is configurable to run a script or command(s) for you before/after suspend.

I just do not need the 2nd NIC. I installed it in my PC just to test squid in the past. So I am happy with this solution. Thanks.
