mozilla-thunderbird migration

Hey everyone

Seem to have come across a stumbling block grabbing all my old mail from my windows side and putting to linux. I copied all folders across fine like the Tbird FAQ says, but i hit a snag as only Local Folders displays in Tbird- none of my personal ones like mates, important, etc. In fact, my profile mail.arach.net.au doesnt even display- it's present in the settings and all is correct, but no folders are displayed in the main window for it.

Any ideas how i can fix it?

Dave.

Move all the files WITHOUT exetension (Inbox, Sent, Foo . ...) to the Local Folders dir and they will appear therev when you fire up thunderbird again..
You can then recreate your main acount and move the mail on the Local Folders to your recently created acount .

Cheers mate, worked a charm.

I moved them to local folders, but realised i like them setup there anyway so i won't bother recreating the account!

Thanks again.
