Not wanting to hijack another thread I have posted this separately. I have printed a number of technical docs out over the last day and it keeps printing the page in the top quarter and is barely legible. Its driving me nuts. The page size is correct - a4. The preview looks great. Other apps print perfectly with this cups system. Its just Mozilla doing this. There must be some simple tweak to make it print correctly. Some of the threads refer to font size. I don't see any option for font size except in display options for on screen but none in printing.
You could try installing xpp (X Printing Panel), which should give you better control over CUPS settings for specific printing jobs.
After installing xpp, you can rename /usr/bin/lpr to something like lpr-orig and then create a symlink /usr/bin/lpr that points to xpp. After this, the X Printing Panel should pop up every time you print something from Mozilla using the "default" printer.
