Mobo and CPU change

I have today ASUS mobo and AMD64 X2 4800+ and will change it to Gigabyte mobo and Intel I7. GPU is Nvidia in both cases.
As I understand there is no problem to boot with my old disk into the new system.
But I have configured lm-sensors for Asus.
Will the loaded modules be a problem when I boot with the new mobo or do I have to change the modules before the mobo change ?

sudo modprobe -l asus*
kernel/drivers/platform/x86/asus_acpi.ko
kernel/drivers/platform/x86/asus-laptop.ko
kernel/drivers/hwmon/asus_atk0110.ko

sudo modprobe -l k8*
kernel/drivers/hwmon/k8temp.ko

It usually doesn't hurt anything to have unnecessary modules loaded, although I suppose there might occasionally be conflicts. It wouldn't hurt to disable the loading of them before you begin in any case, which generally means removing their lines from /etc/modules. Since the new MB likely uses different sensors, you'll probably have to reconfigure them anyway.
