minimal linux - fluxbox how to make it work

I've just install the base Debian(Base and Laptop task only, no Desktop Environment), i wanna use Fluxbox as main GUI but after i installed it, i can't start. I got the error:

happymeal:~#fluxbox
Warning: Failed to open file(/usr/share/fluxbox/nsl/en_CA/fluxbox.cat)
for translation, using default messages.
Error: Couldn't connect to XServer

Is there anything missing?
I have libxinerama1, menu, x11-common, xbase-clients installed.
Maybe this is a stupid question but do I have to install x-window-system?
