The minimal install version installs the base system and then relies on an internet connection to a mirror to download the packages. The network can be configured for proxy use. If you feel this is going to be a problem then download the Woody 1 and 5 iso's and install the normal way.

ok
but let me know
it install programme after download or directly from mirror site
and is there any resume option for downloading

It installs the basic stuff but if you want X and kde then you will have to download another 500MB of data. It does not accommodate resume. If you have a very erratic connection then download the Woody 1 and 5 iso's via jigdo.

I had it resume once. It really impressed me. I had killed power on the computer during the install. I simply started it back up and it picked up where it left off. The apt cache does have a "partial" subdirectory that I'm assuming is where partial downloads are kept.

Also, It downloads everything first, then installs. That way you won't get stuck needing some library file or something that you can't get because you lost your internet connection and be left with an unusable system.

I would give it a try, based on my experience I think things will work in your situation.
