make-kpkg fails.

I just finished configuring my kernel and now I get this: (this is the last part)

dnsdomainname: Unknown host
  UPD include/linux/compile.h
  CC init/version.o
  LD init/built-in.o
  LD .tmp_vmlinux1
drivers/built-in.o(.text+0x5209d): In function `wol_calc_crc':
: undefined reference to `crc_ccitt'
make[1]: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8'
make: *** [stamp-build] Error 2
Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

I have no idea where the wol_calc_crc function is used. But,

- did you apply any external patches?
- what debian release?
- If nothing is abnormal, or this fails but has succeeded before, file a bug with make-kpkg.
