libpng <png.h> mismatch (Debian lenny)

Hya,

While I need to compile mplayer with many options on, my penguin (Debian lenny) ran into this problem. Output of configure log said
Code:
png.h : 1.2.8
libpng: 1.2.27
Result is: no (mismatch of library and header versions)
and png is not supported.

libpng12-0 and libpng12-dev are installed on my penguin (by aptitude).

Shall I just wait?

Happy Penguins!

Make sure that your libpng12-0 is up to date?

Hya,

Thank you for your reply. I checked it and it is up to date. But you gave me a clue. My penguin has several other png.h files in /usr/local/include for historical reason. After taking care of these files, things went well.

Happy Penguins!
