KPPP keeps redialing, even after connection.

So I finally got my Conexant modem working(at least I think so, KPPP recognizes it), and kppp is acting weird. It dials fine and everything, then it connects, and then redials. I've looked at the log window, and there is no 'CONNECT' line in it, but kppp acts like it connected(at least, as far as I can tell, never used kppp before). Thoughts?

whne u see that it is connected then run
