knoppix rc.local


i get knoppix and i c there's no rc.local . what can i do to run my script on startup ( bash script . ??????????????????

With debian your start up scripts are in /etc/init.d To make a script run at start up, you need to place it in the /etc/init.d directory and then you need to run update-rc.d to get it to work for different run levels. man update-rc.d explains it pretty well.
