Knoppix : Installed on HDD : Saving settings
 

Knoppix is a brilliant and its pretty the same as Debian just without the hassle except for one problem. I cannot get it to save my setting for when I boot it up again.

Examples:
>>Does not save console colours / schemes
>>Does not save gaim user accounts
>>Does not save the size of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen

PS, it is installed to my HDD not running straight of CD.

I am not sure about how to save user settings with a Knoppix HDD installation, but if you are looking for a hassle free Debian you might want to try Libranet.
