Kicked out of KDE4
I had encounter at times (after certain updates/installation) -
unable to use heavy graphics like googleearth and blender. Starting these applications will result in being kicked out of the kde session. This happens across different computers. Normally when this happens, I just avoid using the affected software. Just installed KDE4 and encounter the same type of problem. After login (username and password), kde initiatise and before I can see the desktop, I was kicked out back into the login screen. Some Info : Debian(experimental), Intel Core2 Dual, 3G ram, Nvidia 7500 Any idea what can be done? |
Have you checked your logs for any clues??

Managed to solve the issue. Deleted xorg.conf and a reconfiguration of xorg solves the problem. Thanks for replying anyway :-) |

1. In KDM, choose login in console mode. 2. Move the existing xorg configuration file away. Quote:
